The ICGENE Health is a portable real time fluorescence amplifier and reader for diagnostic tests intended for medical analysis laboratories in hospitals and clinics. It is based on LAMP technology and has been developed to enable the use of molecular diagnostic techniques in the human and veterinary sectors without the need for bulky laboratory equipment, and above all to be simple to use.
The average duration of an analysis is about 1 hour and up to 12 samples can be processed simultaneously. A user-friendly Android interface (tablet and app) guides the operator through every step of the task until the result is obtained. The system provides traceability of the test performed, storing operator data, date and time of test execution, instrument data, batch, expiry date of the reagents used and the final result.
The system is equipped with the ICGENE WEB platform for web-based data management.
Automatic interpretation of results
The system allows automatic interpretation of results, real-time display and online availability. The sigmoid curves in correspondence with the positive samples (+) they indicate the presence of what is being sought. The straight indicate that the samples analyzed are negative (o) for the given test.
